Susie Blankfield is a London-based cellist and string arranger who has collaborated with high-profile artists across a wide spectrum of genres. She combines two careers, working as a Senior Arts Policy Advisor at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) alongside her playing work.

EDUCATION WORK

Susie is a graduate of Bristol University and Trinity Laban Conservatoire, and has taught Early Years music, whole-class strings and piano lessons for the Tower Hamlets and Camden music services, alongside various Community Arts projects across London. Prior to joining DCMS, she was a Music Education policy advisor at the Department for Education.
